Connect your CineRangeFinder G2 via the USB cable to your computer. Do not power it via the LEMO connection at the same time, it will run via USB power.
Click the corresponding buttons for either the Sensor Unit or Remote.
Click on the blue connect button. A popup should now appear saying this website wants to connect via a serial port.
Click on the "USB Serial Device" and then click on the blue connect button.
If there are more than one USB Serial Device listed, remove the CineRangeFinder and connect again, note which device listed is not the CineRangeFinder, then connect the CineRangeFinder again and the new device is what you need to click on.
A popup show now show below that it is connecting to the CineRangeFinder, and will ask you to either "Install CineRangeFinder G2 Sensor/Remote" or "Logs & Console". Click the first option.
A warning will now show, click Install.
The firmware is now installing onto the CineRangeFinder G2, this can take 1 to 2 minutes. It should end with an error "Serial port is not ready." (its a bug).
Click close, and then connect again like before. Select the CineRangeFinder USB Serial Device and this time click "Logs & Console".
Click "Reset Device" and a load of text should show up in green. There should not be any text in red.
At the bottom of the dark box next to the ">" icon, type in the word "serial", followed by a space, and then the serial number on the bottom of your CineRangeFinder Sensor unit.
Click "RESET DEVICE" and you should be done.
